Giovanna Gatto is an Italian American creator living in Bologna, Italy. Growing up Italian American, food has always been one of the main ways she connects with Italian culture.

Now living in Emilia-Romagna, Giovanna explores that connection from within Italy — from regional dishes and ingredient traditions to grocery shopping, cooking and the stories behind how people eat.

Through short- and long-form storytelling, she brings curiosity and personality to Italian food and everyday life, making Italy feel approachable while giving her audience the context behind the foods, places and traditions she discovers.
