Scalia white anchovy fillets, marinated in white vinegar, yield softer, more delicate flavors than anchovies that are salted or packed in oil. Scalia Benedetto has been doing things the old-fashioned way in Sicily since 1973, making them one of the most reliable producers of anchovies imported to the U.S. The result is succulent white anchovies that make a delicious addition to Caesar salads and never cease to dazzle on antipasti platters.

First tasted in a Caesar salad at The Cockeyed Gull on Peaks island, Maine, I was smitten by their unique, less-salty flavor and full-bodied texture! Would recommend that all anchovy aficionados give them a try!
